In forthcoming episodes of Emmerdale, we’re set to see Chas Dingle and Cameron Murray respond to the spark of chemistry that’s between them, but for about a million reasons, the relationship is doomed…
And speaking to Inside Soap, Lucy Pargeter, who plays Chas, has revealed that her unlucky in love character will be “gutted” when Cameron (Dominic Power) goes back to his on-off girlfriend, Debbie Dingle (Charley Webb).
Lucy, who’s also starred in Crossroads and Soldier Soldier, explained, ”She’s gutted that Cameron is going back to Debbie, because she still feels a spark with Cam.
“He was going to move back to Jersey if things didn’t work out with Debbie anyway so that would have put an end to it…
“But she is now worried about him staying in the village – but having said that, she is pleased for Debbie.
“She really feels that the girl needs some happiness after all her troubles.”
However, Lucy went on to hint that the fact Cameron and Debbie are to reunite doesn’t necessarily mean Chas and Cameron’s affair is over.
She said, ”They’re on the same wavelength. He’s a nice guy who shows concern for her son Aaron.
“Cameron’s also good around the house and is sexy as hell.”
True dat! But on the subject of Aaron, who’s played by soon to be departing actor Danny Miller, Digital Spy reports that he and some of the cast have filmed what seem to be his final scenes at an airport in Doncaster.
Aaron’s exit from the village is due to air on April 5th and it’s been described as “heartbreaking” as the former wild-child leaves with his new boyfriend Ed, who’s played by Lloyd Everitt.
Apparently, the storyline will be that Ed is going to France where he’s been signed up by a rugby team, and Aaron decides to go with him. However, in a twist, it’s been speculated that Aaron may go on the run from the police after confessing to setting fire to the garage when it was actually Adam Barton (Adam Thomas) who carried out the arson attack.
We’ll keep you posted when we know more about that!
