In the next couple of weeks, Eli and Debbie Dingle are to be arrested for the murder of bent copper Shane and Donna’s going to catch hubby Marlon kissing Chas!

It seems he does it to get revenge on Donna for her affair with Ross after first threatening to divorce her.

Actress Verity Rushworth, who plays Donna, told the Associated Press:

“She can’t believe it. It puts the cherry on top of her day. She’s already said goodbye to Ross, she’s hated by the Dingles and her marriage is ruined.

“All she wants is for Marlon to forgive her. She goes round for one last attempt after the day from hell and finds them kissing on the sofa.”

She added: “She has a shock laugh and then announces she’s going to Essex. It’s very high emotion and a lot of drama.”

Donna and Marlon’s relationship will come under yet more strain when Donna is forced to arrest Marlon’s brother Eli and his cousin Debbie over the murder of Shane.

However Donna remains hopeful that they’ll be able to sort out their differences.

“I think the way it’s left for Donna and Marlon there’s definitely room for some more” Verity said, adding, “They both clearly love each other and it’s definitely not over.

“There’s definitely something there and it could be reignited in the future.”

I wonder if Debbie and Eli will get charged? And will they spill the beans about Jasmine’s involvement?
