Emmerdale: Find out all about Megan Macey’s son Robbie Lawson on his Facebook page!
As fans of Emmerdale will know, in order to make the show as interactive and digitally accessible as possible, several of the show’s characters have their own Facebook pages…
And newcomer Robbie Lawson – who’s played by Jamie Shelton – is no different. Click here to see his Facebook page!
Robbie is of course Megan Macey’s son, who she gave up for adoption when he was a baby. And he’s set to come back into her life when her brother Declan (Jason Merrells) tracks him down via a private investigator.
However, it seems that initially, neither Megan (Gaynor Faye) or Robbie are all that interested in having anything to do with each other, but Declan, being as determined and stubborn as his sister, isn’t content to write the whole thing off as an error of judgement, and in episodes that air a week on Friday, he goes to visit Robbie himself…
We’ll first meet Robbie on May 17th when he turns up at Home Farm, having received a letter from Megan, who of course learned where her son lived thanks to the private detective’s report.
However, Robbie isn’t about to make things easy on his mum, and he demands to know why, all of a sudden, she wants to contact him when he’s heard nothing from her before. And as Megan tries to explain, Robbie bombards her with questions, the most important of which being who his father is.
Megan tells him that his dad died, which it will turn out is a lie, and refuses to give Robbie his father’s name. Furious, Robbie storms out and tells Megan to leave him alone and never contact him again.
An upset Megan also warns Declan to stay out of it from now on, and to stop contacting her son, but he takes no notice and in the episodes that air on May 18th, he goes to see Robbie to give him a telling off for his behaviour.
However, when a mystery girl arrives at Robbie’s, and he introduces Declan as his uncle, we’ll be left wondering who she is and what she means to Robbie.
We’ll have to wait and see of course, but maybe there’ll be a few hints on Robbie’s Facebook!
