ITV have released the first pictures of Charity Dingle/Tate’s return to Emmerdale.

Charity, played by 34-year-old Emma Atkins, is seen running from her wedding in Durham.

Producers are refusing to reveal the identity of her groom or whether the marriage even goes ahead.

Emma, 34, said: “I’m incredibly excited to be continuing Charity’s journey. “It’s a new chapter in both my life and Charity’s and I couldn’t wait to start work.”

Emmerdale series producer Gavin Blyth added: “Charity’s dramatic return will have repercussions throughout the village. Viewers are in for a real treat.”

Is it just me or does Charity look much less skanky in these pictures. I am loving the elegant dress and the longer, softer hairstyle!
