Emmerdale actress, Georgia Slowe has spoken out about the fact that the ITV soap doesn’t seem to be very popular in the South Of England.
“I can’t understand why the show isn’t more popular in the South of England,” Georgia told The Sun. “It’s strange as the radio soap The Archers - which is based in the countryside like Emmerdale - is hugely popular in the South.
“Emmerdale is really popular in the North - where the audience is very loyal - Scotland and Ireland. We’ll have to keep trying to win over more viewers in the South.”
