Mild Mannered Jack Sugden explodes with rage when he discovers that his arch enemy, Billy Hopwood, has been having an affair with his wife, Diane.

Jack can’t handle the fact that Diane has been sleeping with the man he hates so much. So when he discovers what has been going on, he beats Billy to a pulp.

A show insider said: “This is Jack more angry than we’ve ever seen him. Billy is his sworn enemy and the fact he’s pinched his wife is too much to cope with. He loses the plot.”
