Emmerdale actor, John Nayagam, better known as Hari Prasad, has revealed to The Sun, that Emmerdale employ the services of a testicle tickler to make the horses perform for the cameras.

He told the newspaper:

“A little while ago I had to film a scene in which Hari was kicked on the leg by a stallion.

“To make sure it looked right there was a horse handler who tickled his testicles gently so that he would kick out.

“I did feel sorry for the poor horse being driven crazy by the tickling, but there wasn’t any cruelty involved. All the animals on the show are treated really well – they’re looked after better than the human actors!”

I don’t feel sorry for the horses, I feel sorry for the poor tickler…not much job satisfaction is there?
