Emmerdale insiders have been hinting that after 11 years on the ITV soap opera, Kelvin Fletcher (aka Andy Sugden) is considering leaving the soap.
An insider on the show said: “Kelvin has had enough of ‘Emmerdale’ now - after doing it for 11 years. He grew up on screen and feels like he needs a break from being famous. He is planning on returning to acting after having a break.”
However, bosses are denying Kelvin is planning to leave, insisting: “Kelvin is with us for the foreseeable future, and has no plans to leave. Viewers shouldn’t think this means Andy will leave the dock a free man though - after all, we could film scenes from within prison walls.
“And rest assured - there’s plenty more major drama to come!”
