There may be love on the horizon for Emmerdale’s Matthew King, as Sharon Lambert sets out to find her next conquest.

After her mother Val ruined her wedding, Sharon is on the lookout for a new rich man and her attentions may just turn to Matthew, the most eligible bachelor in the dales.

Actress Victoria Hawkins, who plays Sharon, told ITV soaps: “If she was looking for someone rich then it would have to be one of the Kings.”

She continued:

“Jimmy, she wouldn’t go near Jimmy because of Kelly and then Carl’s going out with Chas. Maybe she could get together with Matthew King.”

“Sharon settles in Emmerdale for a little while but she’s determined to look for bigger and better things. She carries on arguing with Kelly and they have a competition to see who can get the most modelling work.”
