Emmerdale Spoiler: Cain Dingle will be left for dead by a mystery attacker!

by Lynn Connolly

It’s been revealed by ITV today that Emmerdale baddie Cain Dingle – who’s played by Jeff Hordley – is about to get his comeuppance for his many bad deeds…

In forthcoming episodes, we’ll see Cain beaten so badly by a mystery attacker, that he may not pull through. This will spark a classic whodunit mystery, but as this is Cain, there are no shortage of suspects!

However, right at the top of the list is John Barton (James Thornton) who has of course recently found out that Cain and his wife Moira (Natalie J Robb) had a steamy affair.

And then there’s Amy Wyatt (Chelsea Halfpenny) who’s currently hiding the fact that she’s pregnant with Cain’s baby from the village, but will his nastiness and threats push her over the edge enough to nearly kill him?

Or maybe Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson) will finally tire of Cain’s efforts to win back the love of his life Charity Tate (Emma Atkins).

It’s even been suggested that Cain’s dad Zak (Steve Halliwell) could be behind the attack, by way of setting the record straight about who is the Dingle alpha male!

A statement from the show’s bosses states, “With six sworn enemies all pushed to the limit after months of manipulation and destruction, who will take the ultimate revenge on Cain as one final showdown results in him being left for dead after a brutal attack in December?”

And the show’s producer, Stuart Blackburn, added, “The climax of Cain’s story will be one of our most dramatic episodes this year…

“With viewers left to decide which of Cain’s enemies has finally taken matters into their own hands.”

We’ll see this storyline begin at the start of December, so, let’s start theorizing whodunit!

I think a surprise candidate could be Nathan Wylde (Lyndon Ogbourne) who may have returned to exact revenge on Cain for kidnapping him and generally making his life a misery…

Let’s have a quick look at a scene from that storyline…
