Emmerdale Spoiler: Chas (Lucy Pargeter) and Cameron (Dominic Power) feel the wrath of the Dingles when trying to flee the village!

You really wouldn’t want to be Chas Dingle right now, would you?

We reported that Chas (Lucy Pargeter) is set to hand herself in to police after believing that she killed Carl King (Tom Lister) during the epic live episode of Emmerdale last week, but pictures on the ITV website today show that Jail may actually be a better option for her as her family track her down to confront her about her affair with Cameron (Dominic Power) before she has a chance.

Fans of the hit ITV1 soap will know how Chas had been having an affair with Cameron, who was engaged to her niece, Debbie (Charley Webb) for months. Though it was over between them, and both Chas and Cameron had moved on (ish) making plans to marry their current partners, devious Carl stole Chas’ phone and extracted rather incriminating photographic evidence of the affair.

At first Carl used the picture to blackmail Chas out of the £30k she extorted from him during their sham wedding last year, however it soon became pretty clear that what he really wanted was Chas herself, and so moved the threat up a notch to make her run away with him, otherwise he would send the photos and explicit text messages to Debbie.

Carl’s attack on Chas which lead to the first brick blow to his head

Chas coyly agreed, but when it came to the crunch she could not go through with it, making Carl incredibly angry and hell bent on revenge. Whilst he was trying to force himself on her, Chas picked up the nearest thing, which happened to be a brick, and hit Carl over the head, bringing him down unconscious. Believing he was dead, Chas made a run for it, but what she didn’t know is that he was in actual fact still alive, and managed to regain enough composure to send the texts to Debbie, before Cameron found him and picked up the same brick and finished the job that Chas had started.

Chas still believes that she is responsible for Carl’s death but from the looks of pictures that have emerged today, before she hands herself in, she tries to make a run for it with Cameron, only to be caught in a Dingle storm on route!

All packed up and ready to leave; Chas is dragged out of the car by her cousin, and Debbie’s mum, Charity (Emma Atkins), whilst Cameron tries to run the other way. Unfortunately for him he has the worst Dingle of all on his trail, Cain (Jeff Hordley) who catches him up armed with an iron bar!

A show insider told the Daily Star newspaper: “Cain and Charity can’t believe Chas has done the dirty on Debbie after all she’s been through.”

In another picture, Debbie can be seen talking to the police, is she informing them of Cameron’s issues with Carl to help Chas after she hands herself in?  We will just have to wait and see!

Emmerdale can be seen week nights on ITV1/ITV1 HD.
