Emmerdale spoiler: Val’s back and gets a punch in the face from Alicia!
Fans of Emmerdale’s Val Pollard can breathe a sigh of relief, as after the uncertainty of the characters return due to the actress who plays her, Charlie Hardwick, leaving the show to work on a stage project with no definite return date, she is coming back!David Metcalfe (Matthew Wolfenden) a brainless, spineless, pathetic waste of space.
Alicia, who has been developing serious feelings for the ex fiancee of her sister, see’s red after the torrent of abuse directed at him, and without a second thought, she punches the feisty red-head in the face, leaving her nose in a bloody mes.
The row erupts just at the very moment that Alicia had decided to tell David how she really felt, but is cut up by Val wanting to express a few home truths to her former stepson.
Never one to take anything lying down, Val phones the police to report the abuse, and a very worrying few weeks lie ahead for the confused and lonely barmaid.
An Emmerdale insider said: “Alicia should never have hit her. It’s going to be a very tough few weeks for the barmaid.”
what happens next is unclear, but with actress Natalie Anderson going on maternity leave at the end of next week till the end of the year, it is safe to say that this probably isn’t the end of the story just yet!
