As we reported earlier, Emmerdale’s Chas Dingle is set to have a big decision to make when Cameron Murray proposes to her…

And it’s a decision that’s going to be made even more difficult when a horrified Chas (Lucy Pargeter) catches a glimpse of something within Cameron (Dominic Power) that she’s never seen before; his propensity towards killer violence.

We viewers have of course seen Cameron in killer mode twice now, given that he’s murdered Carl King and Alex Moss, but seeing the cold eyes of a ruthless killer in her partner will send horror through Chas as she witnesses Cameron coming close to murdering Cain Dingle.

The drama begins when Cain (Jeff Hordley) is furious to learn from Moira Barton (Natalie J Robb) that Cameron proposed to Chas, and he makes nasty comments to both Chas and Cameron, telling them they should do everyone a favour and just leave the village…

In a fury, Cameron goes to the garage to confront Cain and insist that he stop making Chas’s life a misery. But of course, Cain merely laughs at Cameron and promises that if he doesn’t leave, he’ll throw him out.

By then, both Moira and Chas have arrived and as they try to pull apart the brawling men, Chas is knocked to the ground…

Hesitating long enough to check if his sister’s hurt given Cameron the opportunity to grab a heavy wrench, which he makes to bring down on Cain’s head!

He only stops when Chas screams at him to stop, leaving Cain and Moira – and Chas – shaken at just how close Cameron came to caving Cain’s head in!

Will the shocking incident make Chas think twice about continuing her romance with Cameron? And will it make Cain drop his vendetta against Cameron?

Well, we’ll have to tune in on February 1st to find out, but for now, here’s a sneak peek look at a forthcoming episode…
