Fans of Emmerdale will of course know that over Christmas, ex-con Alicia Gallagher (Natalie Anderson) learned that her husband David Metcalfe (Matthew Wolfenden) was in a relationship with gorgeous barmaid, Priya Sharma…

She and David had of course married so that David could have custody of Alicia’s son Jacob while she was in prison, and while that was the only reason he married Alicia, for her, things were less straightforward because she was, and still is, in love with him.

However, as mentioned, he’s in love with Priya (Fiona Wade) but had kept their romance a secret for Jacob’s sake, but when the little lad spots the pair kissing, he of course immediately assumes that the fact his mum and David have parted is all Priya’s doing…

A furious Jacob weeps as he yells as David and at his mother, prompting Alicia to decide that it might be best for her and her son if they move away from the village.

Can David persuade her to stay? Find out in the episode that airs on Wednesday, January 16, however before that drama, we’re set to find out who it is who’s been making Chas Dingle’s life a misery!

In forthcoming episodes, Chas (Lucy Pargeter) will start to receive phone calls from a person who hangs up after she picks up the phone, and things take a sinister turn when – during a visit to Carl King’s grave – Chas discovers that someone has piled all the flowers from the other graves onto Carl’s.

And it gets worse yet when young Gabby spots someone painting the word ‘bitch’ on the wall of the pub…

Chas gives chase to the hooded figure, and is horrified when she catches up with him and finds out who’s been making her life such a misery!

We do know who her stalker is, but we’re sworn to secrecy! Can you guess who it is?

For now, here’s a reminder of the last time Chas saw Carl alive…
