As fans of Emmerdale will know, Charity Sharma (Emma Atkins) now knows that her husband Jai (Chris Bisson) is baby Archie Breckle’s father…

He was of course conceived when Jai and Rachel (Gemma Oaten) had a drunken one-night stand, but after months of keeping Archie’s dad’s identity a secret, the cat was out of the bag last week.

And next week, the fallout from the revelation is set to rock the Sharma family to its core…

The drama begins on Monday, April 29 when we’ll see Charity sitting in the factory trying to come to terms with the shock. She’s soon joined by Priya Sharma (Fiona Wade) who is equally as shocked and horrified at her brother’s actions.

Meanwhile, Rachel, who’s been trying to keep a low profile, musters the courage to go and face Charity, but she sees her coming out of the factory holding Archie, and is overcome with fear about what her reaction might be.

In the episode that airs on Tuesday, April 30, the gossip about Jai (Chris Bisson) and Rachel spreads like wildfire through the village, and when he hears the news, Jai’s brother Nikhil (Rik Makarem) is livid that yet again, he’s just about the last person to know what’s going on…

However, he soon realises that his mother Georgia (Trudie Goodwin) also doesn’t know, so he tries to find her so he can break the news, but his plan is set to fail.

Meanwhile, Rachel has convinced Sam (James Hooton) that they can now be a proper family with no secrets coming between them, and she’s delighted when Sam agrees to move back in with her and Archie…
