The clock is ticking for killer Cameron Murray, given that Declan Macey (Jason Merrells) has ordered that work at Sparrow begin right away, which sends Cameron (Dominic Power) into a panic as he has yet to retrieve Alex Cross’s body…

So in the episode that airs on Monday, May 6, we’ll see a frantic Cameron heading to the gravesite with digging tools and a tarpaulin, determined to find and move the body before it’s too late.

However, it takes him a long time to locate the grave, but when he finally does, he begins digging…

But just as Cameron unearths part of Alex’s body, he hears vehicles arriving, and in a panic, he hurriedly covers the farm worker’s remains and flees the scene when he sees workmen getting out of their vans.

Back in the village, Cameron realises that the only hope for him is to run, so in the episode that airs on Tuesday, May 7, he’s hurriedly packing while trying to convince Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) that it’s her recent suspicions about him having an affair that are driving him away.

But as Chas pleads with him not to go and to forgive her, Cameron suddenly becomes calm and asks Chas to sit down as he says he has something very important to tell her. imploring her not to “freak out”, is he about to confess to his crimes?

Well, seemingly not given that in Wednesday’s episode, we see that while he’s on the brink of running away, he overhears Declan telling Jimmy that work on the land has been delayed as there’s a problem with the planning permission…

Relieved, Cameron realises he still has time to move Alex’s body, but as Chas pesters him to tell her whatever it is that’s bothering him, he lies and says he’s been to the doctor because he’s been suffering from depression for months.

Will Chas buy into his lie? And can Cameron get to Alex’s body in time? Find out next week, but for now, here’s a look at the upcoming drama…
