Nikhil Sharma, along with most of the rest of his family, were shocked to the core when his dad Rishi (Bhasker Patel) announced that he was baby Archie Breckle’s father…

He of course isn’t – his other son Jai (Chris Bisson) is – but Rishi made up the lie when it looked like Jai was about to confess over Archie to his wife Charity (Emma Atkins) which Rishi feared would be the end of their marriage.

But since Rishi’s hasty actions, his daughter Priya (Fiona Wade) has pretty much disowned him, as has Nikhil, who stopped working at the factory after Jai refused to bar their father from being there.

So as we’ll see in the episode that airs on Monday, June 17, Rishi feels he’s on his own, and that he is losing his son so that Jai can keep his…

On seeing how upset his dad is, Jai realises he needs to do something fast to try and reconcile the family, so he makes Nikhil (Rik Makarem) an offer that’s intended to build bridges. But will it? Or will it go down like a lead balloon?

Well, in the episode that airs on Tuesday 18 June, Nikhil’s adamant he won’t be bought off by Jai and his dad, but Gennie (Sian Reese-Williams) tells him that she feels like she’s the one suffering so that Nikhil can make his stand.

But later, when Jai and Rishi corner Gennie, her loyalties are tested to the limit, but who will she side with?

Again, that remains to be seen, but in the meantime, as a favour to Gennie, Bob’s taken Nikhil on as a Barista, but it’s not long before he’s fed up of Nikhil’s over enthusiasm for the job…

So will Nikhil go back to the factory and bury the hatchet with his dad? Or is the Sharma family set to be divided for good?
