In next week’s episodes of Emmerdale, teenager Gemma Andrews (Tendai Rinomhota) – guided by Alicia Gallagher – finally tells her dad Dom (Wil Johnson) that she’s pregnant, and she also tells him that Sean Spencer is the baby’s father!

So not unreasonably, Dom’s livid with Sean (Luke Roskell) and even more so after he stumbles upon Sean and his new girlfriend Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) whose clothes are in a disheveled state…

And when he sees a box of condoms, Dom realises he has to tell Belle’s parents about it!

The drama begins on Monday, June 10, when Gemma goes to see Alicia (Natalie Anderson) and pleads with her to give her money so she can run away. However, Alicia talks her round and, after the two chat with Dom, he tells Gemma that whatever she decides to do about the baby, he’ll support her.

Then, in Tuesday’s visit to the village, an oblivious Belle excitedly tells Gemma about her and Sean’s plans to go camping, asking her friend to cover for her at school. However, Belle wonders what’s wrong with unenthusiastic Gemma when she says she couldn’t care less about her Belle and Sean…

Later on, Gemma pleads with Dom not to tell Sean’s mum Ali (Kelli Hollis) however, when Alicia points out that it’s not fair that she – Gemma – has to go through all this alone, the teenager relents.

But as mentioned above, after Dom catches Belle and Sean in a compromising position, the three families end up at each other’s throats as Ali reels to learn her son is to become a dad.

However, in the episode that airs on Wednesday 12, Gemma announces that she wants a termination, and as Sean’s dad Dan (Liam Fox) doesn’t want his young son saddled with a baby, he thinks it’s the best thing for everyone. But Ali’s partner Ruby (Alicya Eyo) has her own thoughts on the matter…

Meanwhile, a devastated Belle is given a few lessons in the school of hard knocks from Debbie (Charley Webb) which worries Belle’s mum Lisa (Jane Cox) given how jaded and cynical Debbie’s been of late.

However, the whole debacle has made Dom realise what a great catch Alicia is, so he asks her to move in with him and Gemma. But Alicia can’t help but wonder if it’s really her Dom wants, or a mother for his daughter…

Will Alicia move in with Dom? Will Gemma go ahead with the termination?
