Fans of Emmerdale will know that Carl King’s son Thomas (Mark Flanagan) has been a right royal – if justifiably so – pain in the backside for Chas Dingle ever since he arrived in the village…

So it’s somewhat surprising that she’s about to give the troublesome teen a job at the Woolpack, and given that Thomas has hounded and berated Chas (Lucy Pargeter) unsurprisingly, her fiancé Cameron Murray will be decidedly unhappy about it!

And as we’ll see, Thomas has only been working at the pub for five minutes when he ruins a romantic night in for Chas and Cameron, which does nothing to ingratiate the lad with killer Cam…

But is Cameron going to grow to hate Thomas enough to want him dead? Well, that remains to be seen but of course, he’s a constant reminder of his dad Carl, who Cameron did indeed hate enough to murder!

The drama of Thomas working for Chas begins on Wednesday, February 27th when, on seeing how busy Marlon (Mark Charnock) is in the pub, Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) asks him to consider taking Thomas on to help out…

While Marlon’s stunned into silence, Jimmy (Nick Miles) stammers that it’s not a good idea, but Chas disagrees and says she’ll give Thomas a trial, adding that if it works out, she’ll take him onto the pub’s books.

However, in the episode that airs on Thursday, February 28, Cameron keeps insisting to Chas that’s she mad for taking Thomas on, and at every opportunity, he’ll make snide remarks to and about the boy…

But the real test of Cameron’s patience comes when, as he and Chas have a romantic evening planned, the fire alarm goes off, following which Thomas comes barging in, spraying a fire extinguisher.

At first, Marlon defends Thomas, as does Chas, however, in a furious temper, Cameron maliciously lays into Thomas, saying he doesn’t belong in the village and certainly not in the pub.

However, Thomas also loses his temper, yelling that as his dad’s dead, he needs to be near his uncle Jimmy.

Cameron then calms down and apologises, much to Chas’s relief, but of course, she’s unaware that Cameron’s regret is due to his guilt over murdering Thomas’s dad Carl, and realizing that this whole situation is subsequently down to him…

But can he keep his volatile temper in check? Or will Thomas become his third murder victim, simply to get him out of the way?

We’ll find out soon, but for now, here’s a look more of this week’s drama…

I feel the Producers have gone to far and to long in exposing Cameron as a double muderer, soap or night it sends out wrong messages plus it`s gone on far to long, time for him to be exposed

I agree with Garry Shaw, gone on too long. I am getting fed up with it now and unless it is exposed soon I will not be watching. Got better things to do than watch a murderer getting away with it. Surely someone should have been near the woods and seen a burnt out van by now and then the disturbed earth!!!
