Emmerdale star Danny Miller for Charity Manchester 10K Run

Former Emmerdale actor Danny Miller is set to take part in the BUPA Great Manchester 10k Run on 20th May, in aid of charity Once Upon A Smile, and you can support him!

Danny, who until recently played popular character Aaron Livesy in the ITV1 soap and has legions of fans and awards for his portrayal, set up charity Once Upon A Smile with good friend and fellow actor Daniel Jillings last year after the sad death of close friend and former Emmerdale producer Gavin Blyth.

The charity Once Upon A Smile aims to bring smiles to families who have suffered the loss of a parent, brother or sister, partner or child through long term or terminal illness by providing respite breaks and holidays.

Earlier in the year Danny organised the 2nd Gavin Blyth Gala Ball in memory of Gavin, which also acted as the official launch of Once Upon A Smile. The event was attended by an array of celebs and lucky fans and managed to raised thousands of pounds for the charity.

Now in a bid to raise more money for the good cause Danny is set to get his running trainers on and run the annual BUPA Manchester 10K with charity co-founder Daniel Jillings, Emmerdale star Kelvin Fletcher who plays Andy Sugden and charity patrons and Waterloo Road actors Jack Mcullen and Dean Smith. Several of the charities supporters and volunteers have also signed up to run alongside the Once Upon A Smile team and help raise more valuable funds.
