Emmerdale star Emma Atkins is scared of cows! What’s your fear?
Emmerdale star Emma Atkins has revealed that she has a fear of cows.
She also admitted that she’s “paranoid” that a cow may get close when she films scenes for the soap as her character, Charity Tate.
In an interview with Inside Soap magazine, Emma – who’s starred on the show for over a decade – revealed, “I have a phobia about cows! I’ve been filming scenes where there have been cows…
“And I had to make sure that I could see them at all times so I knew what they were up to.”
She added, “I was paranoid they were going to get close.”
Now, I decided to do a spot of research about this issue of Emma’s and, it turns out, the fear of cows has a name; it’s Bovinophobia…
And Emma might also be relieved to know that there is lots of help out there for the “irrational fear of cattle and other domesticated ungulates.”
I’m gonna go ahead and assume ‘ungulates’ is a posh word for cow-like animals.
Anyway, a lady called Cristina Olvera has her own blog all about the distressing condition, which you can see here.
But better yet, the good news for Emma is that you can get over your Bovinophobia! Yes it’s true. Just click here to find out how.
So, we want to know what your fears are…
Do you perhaps suffer from Limnophobia, the fear of lakes, or Peladophobia, the fear of bald people? Or mayhap you have Gallophobia, the fear of France or French culture.
