Emmerdale veterans Mark Charnock and Dominic Brunt – who of course play the roles of Marlon Dingle and Paddy Kirk respectively – have begun filming for a special spin-off DVD.

The plotline sees the hapless duo wake up with hangovers and have no idea what they got up to the night before.

And not only do the duo find themselves getting up close and personal with Winifred the snake, they also end up scuba diving for the Hangover-type adventure.

The DVD will be entitled, Paddy And Marlon’s Big Night In, will be released on November 14.

Producer Tony Hammond said on the soap’s official website, “Dominic and Mark are exceptional actors with genius comedy timing…

“The Big Night In project is a brilliantly written spin-off giving them even more scope to show their true comedic skills.”

Zoe Henry (Rhona Goskirk), Sammy Winward (Katie Sugden), Natalie Anderson (Alicia Gallagher), Natalie J Robb (Moira Barton), Tony Audenshaw (Bob Hope) and Eden Taylor-Draper (Belle Dingle) also star in the spin-off.
