Emmerdale is about to hot up, as we look forward to welcoming a new Kim Tate style character to the show.
The new woman will be Donald De Souza’s cunning daughter Anna and show bosses are looking for a “drop-dead gorgeous” actress to play the part.
A senior Emmerdale insider told The Daily Star: “The show has lacked something since the departure of the ruthless Kim Tate a while ago.
“This is an attempt to breathe fresh fire into the screen action, and cop for a big ratings boost during the traditionally low-audience nights of summer.”
