Poor Val really doesn’t have much luck. Her and Eric are due to get married next week to mark the 5000th episode of ITV soap, Emmerdale. However things don’t go quite as Eric had planned…..

According to The Sun Eric secretly arranged the wedding to coincide with the Village Pub Of The Year contest, so he could save a bit of money. So Val is preparing for the competition when she falls and knocks herself out. The ever enterprising Eli, then kidnaps the barmaid and tries to claim a ransom for her release!
