Emmerdale’s Sally Oliver has spoken about the upcoming baby snatch storyline of her character Lexi King.

Lexi recently suffered an ectopic pregnancy and has just had her husband Carl admit that he doesn’t want any more children. The situation is made worse when the daughter of Nicola and Jimmy is born.

“When Lexi lost her baby, she was the most heartbroken she’s ever been,” explained Sally on the soap’s official website.

“I think it’s something that she’s dealing with right up until Nicola has hers.”

“She feels incredibly hurt by the way Carl has treated her and that he’s admitted he doesn’t want children.

“Then she sees him cuddling Nicola’s baby and she feels so hurt and angry with him and just so sad because he’s all that she wants and she can see him slipping away.”

The situation climaxes on Thursday when Lexi take Nicola’s baby to the roof and forces Carl to admit why he doesn’t want a child with her.
