In one of Emmerdale’s most dramatic episodes this year – and not before time – Andy’s violence towards Jo and the effects on the poor girl are soon to reach a gripping climax that’s sure to have viewers on the edge of our seats!

Apparently, when Andy finds out that Jo’s packed her bags and intends to leave him, the hot-headed farmer flies into a furious rage. Jo, fearing for her life, hides in the barn but when Andy tries to find her, he slips and impales himself on a spike.

He begs Jo for help, but rather stupidly lashes out in pain as she tries to free him.

Jo vows there and then that it’s the last time Andy will raise his hand to her and she walks off and leaves him to die.

Will anyone find him before it’s too late or will he pay with his life for the brutality he’s subjected Jo to?
