Episodes to use Matt LeBlanc’s real Graham Norton interview on show!

American Showtime comedy Episodes will use Matt LeBlanc’s real life appearance on The Graham Norton Show in an upcoming storyline, TV Guide has revealed.

The storyline will feature the interview, conducted by Irish presenter Graham Norton on his weekly chat show, with the fictional version of Matt LeBlanc on the show.

When the original interview took place Matt found himself pushed down the pecking order with US teen sensation Zac Efron taking the prime time interview spot, of which he said: “Zac Efron was in first position. We actually came out at the same time, but Zac got to sit closest to Graham on the couch.”

However, the Friends star went on to say that he was ‘fine’ with the seating arrangement and that now Episodes co-creator David Crane wants to use the footage showing LeBlanc’s character being put out with being upstaged by a younger, fitter actor for laughs.

“It’s the first time [he's been slotted in second] and it sends him into a tailspin,” Crane said.

Episodes follows British writers Sean (Stephen Mangan) and Beverly (Tamsin Grieg) as they head to LA in an attempt to adapt their hit show for an American audience.

It is set to return for a third series in 2014, airing on BBC Two in the UK and Showtime in the US.
