ER stars have admitted that they have no idea if George Clooney will be reprising his role as Dr Doug Ross for the shows final episode.

“I have no idea,” said MSN quote British actress Parminder Nagra as saying. “I don’t think they would tell any of us if that was ever going to happen. It would all, I think, be undercover if it happened.”

“The great thing about the show is you never know,” added Scott Grimes, who plays Dr Archie Morris. “Tomorrow morning, someone could say yes.”

Former ER stars Anthony Edwards as Mark Greene, Noah Wyle as John Carter will be returning at various points during the final season, which premieres in the UK on More4 on January 8.
