Eurovision Song Contest 2007 TONIGHT!

BBC One is at the core of the action tonight as Sir Terry Wogan provides the commentary, in his usual irreverent fashion, for the 52nd Eurovision Song Contest, live from Helsinki.

Last year’s winners, Lordi, powered their way to Finland’s first-ever victory in the hotly fought competition and proved that anything goes. Viewers can sit back tonight and get ready for some wacky outfits, bizarre performances and lots of glitter.

After Scooch’s surprise victory on Making Your Mind Up earlier this year, the British public have pinned their hopes for glory on the pop band, who will be hoping to bring home the trophy after 10 years with their song Flying The Flag (For You).

A record 42 countries are battling it out this year as the line-up includes two new participating countries: Georgia and the Czech Republic.
