Eurovision Song Contest: Andrew Lloyd Webber Appeals To The Nation!

Andrew Lloyd Webber has today made an impassioned plea to the British nation, asking someone to come forward and sing his new song for next years Eurovision Song Contest.

After last years Eurovision debacle, the BBC are obviously pulling out all the stops to make sure they do well in the 2009 competition. They stand a chance this year after Eurovision bosses announced that they will be bringing back juries in a bid to stop the political voting that has ruled the show in recent years.

So with this new voting system and Sir Lloyd Webber penning their tune, surely Britain has to win, or at least manage to get beyond the ‘nul points’ stage!

  1. I am the soprano with the successful quartet Soave, currently singing on the Costa Blanca, I would love to sing for Andrew Lloyd weber in the Eurovision Song Contest. Well thats the blurb.
Seriously, people tell me who hear me say i should have entered the x factor, etc years ago, but I am too self concious, My friends tell me when I sing it make the hair on there arms stand one end.
I need a break from the singing point of view, I have lived my life looking after my husband and father, and obviously my one daughter till she grew. What more can I say except that I have a voice that needs to be heard, please believe me.

I din’t know whether Andrew or Graham Norton actually listened to anything any of the other countries they spoke to last week said about ‘How to win’. Everyone they spoke to said we as a country are losing because we are using unknowns to sing the song . yet they still go ahead and audition inknowns so they obviously did not listen .
If you look back to when we did win we had singers who were in the pop chart such as Sandie Shaw , Lulu etc . Once again we are going the wrong way again so we never stand a chance.
