Falcon Beach is a new teen drama and is part of a new teen strand, BBC Switch On BBC Two. Falcon Beach has been acquired from Canada where it has enjoyed considerable success.

The drama centres on the lives and loves of Jason, Paige, Tanya and Lane in the beautiful, sun-soaked town of Falcon Beach. It is an addictive coming-of-age drama about young people, their passions, relationships, friends, families and enemies.

The weekend of 24 May heralds the opening of the summer season. While Falcon Beach “townies” Jason and Danny make plans to party, rich girl Paige Bradshaw arrives in Falcon Beach with her mother, Ginny, who has returned to reopen her childhood cottage. Sparks fly between Jason and Paige, but complications arise when Jason’s childhood sweetheart, Tanya, arrives back from Europe after a long absence, all grown up and escaping a modelling career that’s gone sour.
