But now there’s an answer to every singleton’s problem in the form of Holly Willoughby and Fearne Cotton in Holly & Fearne Go Dating.

In this brand new six-part series coming soon to ITV, Holly and Fearne’s mission each night is to find the perfect date for one of love’s losers and, after sizing up the challenge, they embark on a mission to find not one, but two ideal matches. One will be Fearne’s choice, the other Holly’s.

The pair really get to know the show’s subject and they listen to stories of dating disasters, find out the sort of places they’ve met previous lovers and build a picture of what’s been going on, what’s going wrong and what sort of person might be Mr or Mrs Right.

The girls have different tastes, different ideas and different places to go in their individual searches to track down our lonely hearts’ perfect date.

The show culminates with the date of a lifetime at the exclusive London restaurant, Hell’s Kitchen. Here, the lonely heart gets to enjoy the company of the two dates, one after the other. However, by the end of the night one date will be left standing!

Will the show’s singleton go with Holly or Fearne’s choice? And will the date end in rejection or romance?
