This Morning presenter, Fern Britton, has lost out on a pay rise this year, due to her recent gastric band controversy.

It is said that Britton expected to receive a 10% pay increase as part of her new ITV contract, but bosses decided to keep her salary static.

She won’t need to be selling her stuff on eBay for extra cash though, Miss Britton’s deal means she is one of the highest paid women presenters on daytime TV, along with GMTV presenters Fiona Phillips and Lorraine Kelly.
