Peter Jackson may have cancelled his Comic Con panel, because too much work has still to be done on his upcoming movie The Hobbit.

However, he has released a pretty amazing picture of his phalanx of dwarves which you can see below.

Actors we already know that will take on the role of the little men include Spooks actor Richard Armitage, Red Dwarf star Graham McTavish, Lord Of The Rings actor Jed Brophy and King Kong actor Mark Hadlow.

The movie will be made in two parts, entitled The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey and The Hobbit: There and Back Again. Both installments are being filmed back to back and are currently in production in New Zealand; principal photography began on March 21, 2011. They are scheduled to be released on December 14, 2012 and December 13, 2013, respectively.
