Earlier today millions of Marvel fans around the world were treated to the very first trailer for their next big blockbuster ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’.

The first trailer was released online a week earlier than anticipated following a leak last night.

‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ is the sequel to ‘Avengers Assemble,’ which hit the big screen back in 2012 and went on to become the third highest-grossing movie to date.

Fans will be glad to hear that ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ retains most of the previous cast and crew including Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Samuel L Jackson, Elizabeth Olsen and Aaron Taylor-Johnson.

Meanwhile Joss Whedon will direct the blockbuster movie which, when released in May of next year, will no doubt become another huge hit for the Marvel studio.

Watching the trailer below it’s clear that the Avengers have a tough battle on their hands against Ultron, a robot who is destined to destroy anything and anyone who crosses his path.

Ultron is played by James Spader and it’s up to Tony Stark – also known as Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr) – and the rest of the team to prevent the robot from decimating the world as they know it.
