In 2007 Foals began working on their debut album Antidotes in New York. The band was produced originally by Dave Sitek but the final copy was mixed by the band themselves after they decided the mix created by Sitek wasn’t what they expected.
In the Official UK albums chart Antidotes reached Number (3).
Since then the band went on to release their second album Total Life Forever in May of 2010 followed by Holy Fire in February of this year. Total Life Forever went on to reach Number (8) in the Official UK albums chart while Holy Fire reached Number (2).
2013 has been an incredibly busy year for Foals, especially the summer. Since the release of their third album in February the band have performed at some of the biggest festivals and a host of venues in front of packed audiences worldwide.
Not many bands these days can say they’ve visited America, Asia, Europe and Austrailia. Some don’t even make it out of the UK but Foals are determined to ensure they keep the excitement and buzz about the band going.
