Foo Fighters release an Outsiders teaser ahead of their ‘Sonic Highways’ documentary

If, like us, you’re patiently awaiting the release of the Foo Fighters new album ‘Sonic Highways’ you’ll be glad that a teaser has been released for the documentary of the same name.

‘Sonic Highways’ is the eighth album from the Foo Fighters and an eight-part documentary will air on HBO later this month with the UK airing it shortly after.

A brand new teaser has dropped today, which, like the documentary, will showcase the recording process of the hotly anticipated album.

‘Sonic Highways’ the album will be released on the 10th of November and this new preview focuses on the Outsiders.

The trailer is narrated by frontman Dave Grohl and shows a brief glimpse of what fans can expect when the new show airs on the 17th of October (26th in the UK on BBC Four).

Foo Fighters recorded the album in eight recording studios across eight cities which include Chicago, Austin, Nashville, Los Angeles, Seattle, New Orleans, Washington, DC and New York.

A number of guest appearances have also been confirmed, including Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, LL Cool J and Chuck D.

Rick Nielson, Gary Clark Jr and the Preservation Hall Jazz Band are also among the names set to feature though in what capacity exactly, it’s not yet clear.

As Consequence of Sound reported the news was confirmed in a new five minute preview clip released by HBO ahead of the first airing.

The trailer also gives fans a clear listen to snippets from the tracks set to be featured on ‘Sonic Highways’ when it is released in November. Those lucky Americans!
