FOX unveils 2013/14 fall premiere schedule: Glee, The X Factor USA, Dads, New Girl, more

Fox has today unveiled its 2013/14 premiere dates with most kicking off in its trademark mid-to-late September slots, whilst other don’t premiere until the beginning of November.

It is also noted that some of the new shows are set to premiere earlier than the traditional late-September slot this year such as Sleepy Hollow on 16 September along with Dads and Brooklyn Nine-Nine on 17 September.

The X Factor will launch FOX’s fall season on Wednesday, 11 September with part one of its premiere. Part two will follow on Thursday, 12 September. The reboot features new judges Kelly Rowland and Paulina Rubio, along with returning judges Simon Cowell and Demi Lovato.

As we have seen thus far, The CW is staying out of the way of the big guns and won’t begin premiering its shows in the new season until October. NBC is set to stagger its returning shows, whilst CBS will launch a week later during premiere week. It is thought FOX has decided to move its shows a week earlier to get a competitive edge over the other major networks.
