Foxes Live: Wild in the City returns tonight
Foxes Live: Wild in the City is an interactive natural history event broadcast live from Battersea Power Station and around the country, carrying out the biggest ever nationwide study into urban foxes in the UK. Using cutting-edge technology, this ambitious project will assemble footage from state-of-the-art tracking technology, camera rigs and user-generated content to provide a fox-eye view of our cities.
In this episode the team investigates why foxes smell so bad. Dr Eleanor Keane of Cardiff University uses high-tech scent analysis to find out what makes a fox scent so pungent. Mark Evans goes on the trail of a mysterious black fox. And Queen guitarist and animal lover Brian May makes a guest appearance to talk about his own experiences of rescuing and raising wild foxes.
