I loved Fraggle Rock as a kid and still watch the reruns with my own children now. So I was psyched to hear that the TV show is being reworked into a movie and is about to move into pre-production.

Brian Henson, son of “The Muppets” creator Jim Henson, told MTV that Fraggle Rock “has a very strong script” and “It’ll have a strong musical component….It’ll be expanded to an older audience. Fraggle Rock [the TV show] was presented…for a pretty exclusively children’s audience. The feature film does expand it to be more accessible to a wider audience.”

I for one am looking forward watching the future adventures of Gobo and Travelling Matt!
