Sources from behind the scenes of hit medical show House, have confirmed that German actress, Franka Potente, will be making an appearance on House season six.

Potente, previously seen in Run, Lola, Run and The Bourne Identity, will appear in the two hour premiere of the House.

At the end of season five (not yet aired in the UK) House suffers from debilitating hallucinations and ends up being admitted to a psychiatric facility by Wilson, while Cameron and Chase are getting married.

Speaking about the feature length season premiere, House executive producer David Shore told Eonline: “Those two hours take place basically exclusively within the institution.” This points towards Potente playing either a doctor looking after House, or a fellow patient.
