Emmerdale actor Nick Miles, who plays Jimmy King in the soap, has revealed that his character’s relationship with wife Nicola Blackstock is set to come under yet more pressure in upcoming episodes, when he’s left to look after his young son Elliot next week.

Elliot’s mother and Jimmy’s former lover, Kelly Windsor, drops Elliot on him so she can go away with her new boyfriend, and Nicola is left unimpressed…

“As far as she’s concerned, ‘that slapper’ – as she calls her, is just trying to ruin her life” Nick tells What’s On TV in their latest issue.

“I think kids are stressful in any relationship at the best of times, but the situation threatens Nicola’s desire for control” he continues. “Also, Jimmy never back down when it comes to family, it’s the only time he doesn‘t, so it causes serious friction between them.”

Would Nicola dare to force him to choose between Elliot and her and Angel? Nick thinks she wouldn’t dare…
