Futurama Season 7 spoilers: Emilia Clarke to guest star as a flower stand owner, with no sense of smell

Futurama may well have just been cancelled by Comedy Central, but that hasn’t stopped producers from enlisting the help of Game of Thrones’ Emilia Clarke.

Clarke, who plays Daenerys Targaryen on Game of Thrones, is set to appear on the penultimate episode of the season before it is given the chop – for the second time, I may add.

She is to play a flower stand owner, who was born with no sense of smell – I’m no florist, but I think she might be in the wrong profession?

David X. Cohen, Futurama Exec Producer told EW: “She falls in love with Dr. Zoidberg – the smallest character on Earth in the future – but she can’t smell him, so it’s a match made in heaven.

“However, being a doctor, he has the opportunity to perform a nose transplant to give her a sense of smell, which would destroy their romance, so it’s big dilemma.”

Futurama season 7b will begin airing its final episodes from June 19th and will conclude on September 4th.

I’ve been a Futurama fanatic for years. Emilia Clarke will be a great voice and character, and I work at DISH with plenty of other Futurama (and GOT) fans who should appreciate her cameo, too. With Futurama coming to an end later this year, I’m going to save all of the last season to my DISH Hopper, so I can indulge my nostalgia whenever I want to. I always have enough space for full seasons and my other series, too, because my hard drive can store up to 2,000 hours of entertainment.
