Game Of Thrones season 2 finale spoilers: “Valar Morghulis” to get extra ten minutes – King Joffrey pays tribute to Tywin Lannister

It’s hard to believe that “Game of Thrones” is already coming to the end of it’s second season and we have to admit, we will be rather gutted to see it go. Time does indeed fly when you’re having fun it would seem….or when you’re enthralled with one of the bloodiest dramas on TV.

The news that the final episode will be longer than usual was music to our ears today, as HBO confirmed that the last episode of the series will be extended for an extra ten minutes.

While normal installments have previously run for 55 minutes, the episode titled “Valar Morghulis” – which will air in the US on Sunday, June 3 and in the UK on the 4th – will last for approximately 64 minutes.

The previous installment saw the huge and impressive Blackwater battle play out and the last look at Westeros will see the aftermath of the war.

In the preview clip for the finale, young King Joffrey pays tribute to his grandfather Tywin Lannister and tells anyone who will listen that the Lord of Casterly Rock, Shield of Lannisport and Warden of the West is the savior of the city. He also doles out rewards to his loyal sunjects.

Meanwhile, Brienne of Tarth leaves the Starks in no uncertainty when she declares that she is not their servant.

Tyrion finds himself in a changed situation, Theon prompts his men to take new action, Luwin offers some words of wisdom. Jaqen gives Ayra a special gift, Daenerys goes to a new and strange place and Jon proves his worth to Qhorin.
