Game Of Thrones season two ratings down but still holding strong
Game Of Thrones may have suffered a small fall in it’s ratings in recent weeks, however the show is still outperforming most other shows airing on the same night.
The HBO fantasy drama is the number one cable show being broadcast on a Sunday evening, last week pulling in 3.7 million viewers with a 1.9 rating. The later 11:00 p.m. airing attracted another 0.98 million viewers.
In the UK the season has been received just as positively, with 522,000 tuning in for the series opening last month, which was especially impreesive when compared with the return of Mad Men in the same week, which pulled in just 98,000 viewers.
The only problem with the current season of Game Of Thrones, is that it is already almost over!
There are only three episodes left in the second run and we predict that as the tension rises towards the end of the series and in advance of the season finale, the US figures may well be boosted over that four million mark.
