Game Of Thrones star, John Bradley, joins the cast of Merlin *spoilers*
Fantasy fans will be pleased to know that Game Of Thrones star, John Bradley, is joining the cast of hit BBC fantasy dram, Merlin.
Bradley will join the cast as Tyr Seward, according to the Metro newspaper and the show’s official page on social networking site, Twitter, when it was tweeted: ‘Fancy a #Merlin 5 casting reveal? Of course you do! JOHN BRADLEY (Samwell in Game of Thrones) is playing the part of ‘Tyr Seward’.’
Bradley joins Liam Cunningham in the Merlin club of ex-Throners, who is also joining for the new series of Merlin.
Bradley’s portrayal of Samwell, companion to Jon Snow (played by Kit Harrington) in the hit HBO series, Game Of Thrones, was well received and critically acclaimed.
He joins Merlin, the family based drama, after it was recently revealed on Digital Spy website that its creators, Johnny Capps and Julian Murphy, that another series after the upcoming one is likely to be commissioned, with talks underway already in preparation for a 6th series despite the pair claiming they had always intended for it to reach five series’ but later decided that ’it depends on how popular the show is’, as to whether this is extended.
