Game of Thrones premieres its fourth season on Sunday evening (not that you need reminding), and a short but sweet teaser has been released for the premiere episode.
Unfortunately, the teaser for the premiere episode titled ‘Two Swords’ is really quite short, but it’s filled to the brim with exciting new material. Head on inside for everything we know so far…
The promo video kicks off with Dany trying to deal with her army of former slaves. In the trailer, she’s stood on a cliff overlooking her slaves, with her personal servant Missandei to her side.
Missandei says: “They say a thousand slaves died building the Great Pyramid of Meereen, and now an army of former slaves is marching to her gates”.
It looks like Jaime is going to be having a bit of a tough time in the premiere episode as well, as Cersei pushes him away. He tells her that he killed people to be with her, and all she can do is resent him.
Meanwhile, it looks the dark times are going to start early for Arya as she’s dragged back from doing what looks like a runner.
Kit Harington’s Jon Snow is going to be gearing his men up for the fight against the Wildlings at the Wall on Sunday’s episode.
“There’s a band of Wildlings south of the wall already,” he tells his brothers.
The arrows have been drawn, the weapons are being held close, there’s going to be one hell of a fight when the fourth season of the drama kicks off this Sunday on HBO!
Not only that, we’re going to get a glimpse of the Red Viper on Sunday as he arrives to cause nothing but anarchy. He’s gunning for the Lannister’s as he tells Tyrion that only the Lannister’s pay their debt.
We’ve already been told that Tyrion will be in some sort of danger in virtually every episode, so it’ll be interesting to see where the episodes go.
Game of Thrones returns on Sunday, April 6 at 9/8c on HBO! The premiere episode will also stream simultaneously in the UK on Sky Atlantic.
