CSI season 13 spoilers: George Eads is back!

Fans of CSI can all breathe a huge, synchronised sigh of relief, George Eads has signed a one year extension for his role as the deliciously delightful Nick Stokes in the HIT US drama, CSI.

The  new deal,  with CBS Television Studios, will see the popular actor remain in his role as one of the leads of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, for at least the next twelve months, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

US viewers are currently awaiting the finale of the 12th series, due to air on May 9th, with the 13th series scheduled to premier on US screens towards the end of this year.

With the influx of character re-jigging the 12th series has seen, including the casting of Ted Danson as the CSI’s new team leader, and Elisabeth Shue brought in to replace Marg Helenberger,fans were left worried about the future of original stars such as Eads, who has been in the show since it first began.

But with this development, fans can now look forward to the casting of Brooke Nevin for the season finale, who has been brought in to play Danson’s daughter, Maya in the show.

    Yeeeees! Thanks CBS. Mister George Eads is the main reason a watch CSI since the beginning. He is certainly deliciously delightful (despite his obsession of messing with his beautiful, perfect eyebrows).
