– Matthew Morrison will sing a song from his new album, titled Still Got Tonight’. The track will be the lead single from his debut release. He will sing it alone on an empty stage.

– Broadway legend Patti Lupone will guest star in the episode. Speaking about how he convinced her to appear, Glee boss Ryan Murphy admitted: “I wouldn’t take no for an answer. Obviously, we talk about her very reverentially, and she agreed to do it because she loves the arts and the show. Patti LuPone is New York to me.”

– Finn, Rachel, Puck and Lauren will all spend some time in Todd English’s Ça Va Brasserie and two of the under-age students will try to order Manhattans.

– The cast will perform a mashup of “New York, New York” and “I Love New York.”

– In the clip below the cast are seen singing and dancing and Heather Morris (Brittany) is clutching a huge bunch of balloons. The actress was supposed to let them go free at the end of the song, however the scene was cut due to “littering fines.”
