Kevin McHale has admitted that he is excited about the new romantic storylines in Glee season two.

In season one, McHale’s character Artie got together with Tina (Jenna Ushkowitz), but creator Ryan Murphy recently revealed that she will soon dump up with him for Mike (Harry Shum Jr) when the show returns.

“I like it,” McHale told E! Online. “I like that they keep mixing it up, because I don’t think Jenna or I ever thought that would happen. We’ve had a lot of drama up to this point so I thought we’d be [OK now].”

McHale went on to admit that Artie brings many of the problems on himself, by not treating Tina well when they are dating.

He said:

“In the Madonna episode, he was a little chauvinistic. And that kind of comes back a little bit. I don’t know what his deal is. But it’s funny because I’m not like that. I don’t objectify. But he totally does.”
